With this web site, WV CALA hopes to focus on the need for real change in our legal system, so that West Virginia families don’t continue to suffer. Our state cannot keep fooling itself into thinking that everything is fine with our job climate. For far too long, far too many West Virginians have been suffering from the state’s weak economy and forced to look outside of their home state for better job opportunities.
This web site focuses on what WV CALA sees as two of the primary causes of the state’s broken legal system: (1) Attorney General Darrell McGraw’s unchecked abuses of power; and, (2) the proliferation of television advertising personal injury lawyers, who encourage people to file lawsuits whether they are injured or not.
